Inspections

Why Do You Need a Used Car Inspection?

A car is one of the biggest purchases you will make. How do you know if there is an issue or it's actually as good as it seems? Let Daytona's take some of the guesswork out of buying a new-to-you vehicle by getting a used car inspection. Below are just some of the things we check:

Test Drive

This may seem simple but while test driving your potential new vehicle our mechanics looks for a number of things; tire vibration, alignment, A/C operation, cruise control, speedometer, gauges and instruments, and much more.

Braking System

Even if the brakes aren't squeaking, there could be issues in the braking system. Here at Daytona's we check the wheel and master cylinders, drums/rotors, front and rear discs, hoses, bearings, seals, parking brake, calipers and linings.

Suspension

The car you are looking at seems to drive nice, but not familiar with that particular vehicle should ride?

Our used car inspection always includes checking the ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm, sway bar bushings, struts and shocks to make sure it rides the way it should.

Transmission

Daytona's used car inspection checks the transmission for shift quality issues and clutch operation.

Overall Vehicle Check

Our used car inspection covers so much, it's hard to list. Here is a rundown of the other basic things we check for you:
